Now it’s time to take everything you thought about in step one and put it in writing. Writing a plan for your Web site will help you determine whether you are prepared to take on the project yourself or if you should hire a professional Web site designer.

The plan should include:

  • Your goal
  • The functionalities you need
  • Your update schedule
You can give this plan to a hired Web designer or use it as a guide when you build your own Web site.
